A friend of mine told me about Jasper, a local child who attends preschool at Bard. Jasper’s mom noticed a lump on his leg a few weeks ago and he was subsequently diagnosed with something called rhabdomyosarcoma. He’ll need 42 weeks of chemotherapy in Boston, but the good news is that his most recent bone marrow biopsy and sentinel lymph biopsy came back clear. The folks at Bard have set up a fundraiser for Jasper’s parents to help with the costs of travel and the many copayments required with Jasper’s treatment. Please consider donating a bit to help them out.
Even if you can’t donate to Jasper’s fund, I’m sure prayers and positive energy are welcome for yet another Hudson Valley family starting this long journey. Please keep Jasper in your thoughts.
