  3. Jackie, this is great news! Although I’m sure it’s scary, it’ll soon all be over, and Ana will be on the mend – once and for all. Your girl will be healthy and happy, and you will finally be able to BREATHE, You’ve been holding your breath for months now.

Don’t worry about the animals. Lauryn would be more than happy to do it. I think we even still have the key. Just let us know what they need.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed, and saying prayers too.

  4. Wow… that waiting place is not an easy place to be. Wishing you all some peace, patience and love as you wait. Let me know if there’s anything we can do to help out in any way. xo

  5. Wow, totally reminds me of that zone awaiting the parenting kick-off, whether impending birth or adoption. Makes me wonder about your earliest mothering experiences around Ana.

And into the Hurry Up And Wait Mode we go! 😀

  6. So this is the beginning of…the BEGINNING! After developing an enigmatic liver failure at age 38, my friend has now lived 15 healthy years with his replacement liver. He’s seen 2 sons graduate from college, and will graduate his baby girl from high school in June. She doesn’t even remember he dad being so very sick. But we, his friends, wife, and parents…WE do. I will continue praying that God keep you all in the palms of His hands as you prepare for this next step in Ana’s journey.

  7. Ohmygosh. Yes, deep breaths for you. So many have been keeping constant thoughts on Ana and you all. This really kicks it into keeping-a-vigil mode. May you all be guided smoothly once this call comes. I’m going to light a candle right now, in that spirit. I like your mom’s thoughts of “the sooner this happens, the sooner that she’ll be well.” YES! Take care.
